One of our staple products, Chillililli was with us on our first ever market stall and has been a favourite of ours and our customers ever since.
Our Chilli piccalilli is now even hotter, a lucky mistake as we added far too many Naga chillies to one batch but the customer feedback was keep it super hot, so thats what we have done.
Made with lovely crunchy cauliflour, onions and carrots to name but a few all combined in the well recognized mustard coloured rich, velvety sweet yet hot sauce. Your sunday roast will never be the same again with this bad boy. Try this with any cold meats or cheese. You will not be prepared for the kick this will give you!!!
So for all you piccalilli fans who like chilli welcome to heaven!

Naga Lime Pickle
Chilli Pickled Onions

Rating by Gary Noyce on November 10, 2011:
If there was an extra star I’d rate this 6!
I first tried this at the Firefoods headquarters in June 2011. Since then I have never been without a supply in my cupboard.
The pickle comes in a smart little jar (too small if im honest. I could finish one off in a day given the chance) with the usual firefoods logo on the front. What is extra nice about this label is that it lists all the ingredients, so there is no uncertainty as to which type of chilli has been added.
Upon opening the jar the familiar and delicious smell of picallilli fills the air and makes the mouth water. Unlike most picallilli pots however which are usually full of yellow gunk at the top, this has a wealth of vegetables on display, all coated in that familiar looking yellow sauce. My immidiate reaction is to dunk a finger in to taste, but WAIT, dont – since if you read the label you will see that naga chillis are in this jar of gold and should you later on during that day rub your eyes – there will be tears a plenty.
My favourite bits in a picallilli apart from the tangy sauce are the pickled onions. Nice to see therefore that the Chillililli has plenty of those little beauties inside. I reach for a spoon and scoop out an onion along with a bit of couliflower and plenty of yellow sauce. The smell is simply amazing.
The pickle looks just like any other high quality (Haywards) picallilli, – very rich thick sauce with plenty of crunchy looking vegetables.
To taste, it tastes just like a Haywards Picallillli at first, then comes the naga heat. Its a good heat and not too fierce, even those who dislike chilli may still like this if they are yellow pickle fans.
It is very versatile in its use. I use it on cheese/ham sandwiches, on salads, just off the spoon, on biscuits and as a dip at parties. Some people find it too hot, others like me come back for more, then more and then even more until its all gone!
Personally I prefer hotter sauces, but the mix of the picallilli and naga is very addictive and I for one can’t get enough of the stuff. I shall definately continue ordering this product so long as it remains in production!
I think that this product can not be classed as a yellow pickle. Its aactually a new breed of pickle – “Gold Pickle”, not due to its colour, but due to its worth. Like Gold it will always have its value. (and a place in my home!)

Just wow!
Never even tried a piccallili before this one, but now Im an instant convert.
10/10 for taste, and the heat is good enough to leave a nice glow in the mouth afterwards.
Cant wait to try all the other stuff Ive just bought
