From Cyril the Squirrel Terrier Racing and the K9 Freestyle Dog Display to ‘Have-A-Go’ Dog Agility, Rover can have as much fun as you – but that’s not all! With FREE grandstand seating and 26 rings and display areas there’s plenty to see and do. In the Main Ring the hair-raising Jason Smyth Adrenaline Quad Bike Stunt Show will wow you as will the JC Balls Dancing Diggers, not forgetting the exciting new Hunt Relay competition.

Elsewhere on the showground you will find Show Jumping and all the usual equine and livestock showing classes, Sheep Racing, Dog and Duck Display, Sports Clubs, Forestry Area, Antique Village, Farming Heritage, Countryside Area, Choir stage and much, much more!
You’re very welcome to bring a picnic but you might just be tempted to try an amazing array of food and drink in the Food Hall - and don’t forget to visit the Streets South Ring.
So what are you waiting for? Book your tickets in advance and save £2 on each adult admission for that great day out!

The May show at the East of England Showground in Peterborough is the season ‘opener’ and is Europe’s largest outdoor motorcycle show. The show has been running for 34 years and attracts vast numbers of visitors and exhibitors alike.

Live evening entertainment is provided for those camping on both Friday and Saturday evening, a great main arena programme is provided for all attending which always includes motorcycle related stunt shows and when possible racing of some description. Exhibitors benefit from a choice of indoor or outdoor pitches and of course the event is well publicised throughout the motorcycle consumer and trade press, as well as local area advertising.

The attendance at the BMF May show is between 40,000 – 45,000 people over the weekend and is a perfect day out for all members of the family

DERBYSHIRE FOOD & DRINK FAIR 2012

We are happy to announce that the 2012 Derbyshire Food & Drink Fair will take place at Hardwick Hall on 26-27 May.

Entry Fee: Adults, £5, Concessions £3, Children under 16 enter for free.

Opening Times:

Saturday 26th May : 10am - 5pm
Sunday 27th May : 10am - 4pm
Over one hundred and fifty stalls will showcase the best local produce from Derbyshire and the Peak District region, as well as unique and exotic foods from further afield.

Back by popular demand, TV chef Simon Rimmer will be the celebrity demonstrator in the cookery theatre, alongside renowned Derbyshire chefs, demonstrating their signature dishes.

The popular arts and crafts section will house over 30 local artists and crafts people displaying their wares, which will range from contemporary art to traditional craftworks.

Children will also be accommodated for with a wide range of activities and spectacles for them to enjoy.

Visitors to the event can take the opportunity to visit the National Trust’s Hardwick Hall with a special offer for Food Fair visitors of 2-for-1 entry.

Visitors can also take the opportunity to visit the English Heritage site of Hardwick Old Hall.
