Please be aware that due to recent bad weather we have limited car parking spaces and queues may form if our car park becomes full. In these situations we operate a one car in, one car out policy. Cars may be directed to park away from the house car park, so please wear suitable footwear to walk through the park.

We advise that you avoid planning your trip during the peak times between 11am and 1pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Includes admission to the house and garden

This year we will be operating a timed ticketing system for the house during Christmas in order to reduce queuing times. Please ensure you book online in advance to secure your selected entry time.

Friends of Chatsworth and corporate members do not need to book an entry time. Visitors with gift vouchers and passes should exchange their vouchers for timed tickets on the day of visit.

Celebrate Christmas at Chatsworth with Mr Toad

Journey through scenes of the much loved Kenneth Grahame classic The Wind in the Willows this Christmas, and share the adventures of Toad, Mole, Ratty and Badger as they celebrate Christmas at Toad Hall.

Experience a magical evening tour through Christmas at Chatsworth this year as we will stay open late on Thursdays and Fridays from 26 November – 18 December 2015. Simply book your timed entry for later in the day.

Keep an eye on the calendar below as we publish events and activities for the whole family over the winter period. From truly magical nativity performances in the farmyard starring our own farm animals, to gourmet evenings, floral demonstrations, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Or if you prefer to get your Christmas shopping off to an early start, you can browse our range of gift shops, visit our Christmas market with over 100 stalls of gifts for the whole family, and why not stop for a mulled wine and mince pie.

This year we’ve extended the magical journey to include the Great Chamber and Guest Bedrooms. Select rooms on the upper floor of the house will be closed for annual conservation during the Christmas season.
