Grilled Beef Sausages With French Fries


12 Beef Sausages, cleaned, slivered
4 Potatoes, peeled, cut into 1 x1 x 5 cm
4 bunches Cilantro, roughly chopped
1 teaspoon Salt
Vegetable Oil

Ingredient for Barbeque Sauce:

2 cloves Garlic
3 tablespoons Honey
1 tablespoon Palm Sugar
1 tablespoon Black Pepper Powder
1 tablespoon Chilli Powder
1 teaspoon Salt
350 grams ready to use Barbeque Sauce
2 tablespoons Sesame Oil
3 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
3 tablespoons Tomato Sauce
1 tablespoon Chili Sauce
3 tablespoon Vegetable Oil


1. Direction to make the Sauce: heat vegetable oil in a wok, saute garlic until fragrant, add barbeque sauce, sesame oil, Worcestershire sauce, tomato and chilli sauce, honey, palm sugar, salt and black pepper powder. Simmer it. Separate it into 2 bowls.
2. Marinade sausages with the half of the sauce for 30 minute, save it in the refrigerator so that sausage can absorb the sauce maximally. Save the other half for later.
3. Meanwhile, to prepare French Fries, soak potato in water, season with 1 teaspoon salt, mix it well, set aside for 15 minutes.

4. Heat vegetable oil in a wok, deep fry potato until golden and done, dry on paper towel to absorb the oil.
5. Preheat grilled pan for sausages. Grill sausages, once in a while spread sausages with the remaining barbeque sauce. Grill sausages for 5 minutes each side until done.
6. Serve grilled sausages with barbeque sauce, french fries and cilantro.
7. Note: You should not sprinkle salt over your french fries because it is already savoury enough.
