Its a jam-packed, two-day family event filled with incredible wild food, bushcraft and raw food and chilli activities that will take you and family on a wild hot and natural adventure that you’ll never forget. Cookery demonstrations, amazing street vendors from around the world, Raw food enthusiasts, workshops events, music and entertainment and lots more.

Whether you and your family come for the day or camp over for the whole weekend, you can try your hand at Camp cooking, Foraging, Flint knapping, Tanning, Woodland crafts, Fire Lighting, knife making, Shelter building, and so much more or why not follow the chilli trail around the globe, from Mexico, Spain, Africa, India, Southeast Asia, Caribbean, South America and the USA with some of the nation’s top chilli sauce companies and growers who will be handing out samples to make your tongue tingle, and trading there seeds/plants with advice for growers and hot food enthusiasts. Not forgetting the first ever Official Essex Chilli UK Cook-Off Heats taking place on the Saturday only, 20 teams competing for a place in the Uk finals and a chance to compete in the world championship in Las Vegas. Your kids will love the chance to get up close with African pygmy hedgehogs or ride on the biggest inflatable in Essex or enter the real bush tucker trial competition and get an opportunity to try some carefully selected edible insects tailored to appeal to the most discerning of palates.
